Labdanum Resinoid Oil

Labdanum resinoid is derived from Cistus Ladanifer. It is a thick and dark brown sticky resin which is used in natural remedy. The sweet and amber scented resin is a natural oleoresin which has excellent therapeutic and great wound-healing properties. It has been used in  scent for its complex and amazing scent. A rich base note, it evokes pines but also leather tobacco,paper or even coffee it is aften used as a natural and vegan alternative to ambergris.

The evergreen leaves of Cistus Ladanifer  coat themselves with a sticky and fragrant resin to prevent dehydration when the temperature rises. It is also called gum rockrose.

Cistus is known for its wound-healing abilities and very effective for chronic conditions like eczema. Cistus acts fast to stop the bleeding from the fresh wound.It is very beneficial for achne for oily skin as well as wrinkles and mature skin.
