innamon Leaf essential oil is sweet, spicy and woodsy. It is a by-product from processing cinnamon bark into quills. After harvesting the bark, leaves are trimmed and left in the field. After some days, the leafs are collected and used for its essential oil by steam distillation method. The yield is approximately 1%. The best oil yield are usely obtained during July and September.
Oil is graded according to eugenol content that goes maximum of 80% with a maximum of 5% cinnamic aldehyde.
It is extensively used to purify the air and helped to protect immunity.
