Holi basil essential oil is distilled from the botanical Ocimum Sanctum and it is also known as Tulsi. It is native to India and South-East Asia. Tulsi has extensively been used across India for spiritual purposes and Ayurvedic medicines. It is a versatile and spiritually enriching addition to aromatherapy and wellness.

Due to have many therapeutic benefits, it is distilled by steam distillation method and has many chemical constituents but the main chemical contents are Eugenol (23-46%), β-elemene (14-30%) and β-caryophyllene (15-28%).
